Crossed the same tracks twice this morning to start the day off.
More straight roads to ride with the threat of rain.
A rag tag group started to form as we slow peddled to warm up.
40km to the border. It looks like the sun is shining across the border.
Even though we had to wait for every one to show up at the border before going over it we still put in a fast paced ride.
This is Sherri
Larry.
Even though we're still in Canada the sign says 1 mile.
Assembling at the border.
A rare sighting of the photobomber.
Riding to the gate.
The rest behind me.
After going through we had to gather and wait until everyone was through before we could leave. By the time we all made it vehicular and all we gathered for a pic.
It started to pour just before this pic was taken. So we waited for a while for the rain to stop. Then we waited longer for the roads to dry up.
The usual suspects left first. I asked them all to ride in a straight line so they would dry the road.
Skidded in for a photo op on front of the state sign. The skies don't look that great in front of us so we weren't in too much of a hurry. It's not like we wanted to catch up to it.
In town a few km away we stopped at a restaurant and ran into these guys. We talked to the locals and before we left a lady came by and said she had 2 people call her to say that we were going through her town. Turns out she was the eiditor of the local paper in warrord.
After lunch the roads had dried up and a nice tail wind had developed. A train blew its horn right beside us. I think I have a Video I'll try to put it on Facebook.
We ended up having a great ride to the next stop.
Thanks to Andy and Jenny for there patience and servents hearts. The served us ice cream yesterday in celebration of their 36 anivesary and their first grand child. The things we miss as we are on the ride. Family is the toughest one.
Our next stop was in a tornado shelter.
This little guy was making sure we sanitized.
On the home stretch
After this shot we had about 10 km to go. Ruben and I decided to tromp on it for the last few k. We told the group and left. Curtis came with us and we had a fun ride of 35 k plus to camp. Time for supper.
Tacos for supper. Why do I keep putting serracha sauce on my stuff. Burnt lips are not a good match for hot sauce. See u later. Len.
