Day 12lake Louise to Canmore

First off  today's ride was the longest short ride ever. Also a great day. But first yesterday. Lake Louise.
I went for a walk and then decided to comeback tocamp. Carrie had fest stop 1 and 4 yesterday so she was tired and needed help when she got back. We heard there was a grizzly bear around so we went for a walk to find it. My plan was to jump in the water if it came running. Turns out we didn't find it because it swam across the river to the tent side of the camp. I guess my plan wasn't the greatest. Harold got a pic of it.
Like a bunch of teenagers breakfast was devoured.

We took 1a hyw and it was quiet and mostly down hill. Really good for the knee.

We stopped at a look out along the road.

Nice riding early in the morning. A guilt road and great scenery.

It's going to be tough to beat these veiws.

A panoramic  view that can't be beat.

I saw Albert again today.

Carrie was the only stop today. Mountains in the back round. And billy on his bike.

There still using this gas pump. Pretty sweet.

Carries stop.

Saw this bear just after the stop.

We stopped at Johnston canyon.

This was my peloton heading up to the falls.

I thought I would take a nice pic of the water but these people jumped in.

How did all these people get up here.  Shouldn't they be biking.

The classic Charlie's angles pose. Ian is not an angle that's why his pose is sub par.

This is the falls that everyone was looking for.

Beatty and the jets at the stop.

In the road again.

A nice lake on the way to Banff.

We arrived and met up with the girls.

We had some poutine and burgers. Also some ginger ale.
We did some shopping on the main drag and headed for the RV. so we headed to the falls just out of town. I decided to swim by the falls and got arrested.
Well not really but is this a cool pic or what. so we rode up to the hotel to get some pics. As we went under an acrchway at the hotel Ian's tire blew right off the rim. The bang was so loud that everyone in the wedding came to look. So two bikers technically crashed a wedding.
This is the view from terrace.
Here's Ian fixing his tire.

We biked all the way around to take this pic from the other side of the river.

Upset with us crashing her wedding we had to talk the bride off this cliff.

We went screaming down the bike path to Canmore and made it their by430. We were the last ones in. 94 km later on a day that should have been 85. What a great day.  Len.
