Day 24. Yorktown to Russell Manitoba

So we were relaxing at camp yesterday.
When all of a sudden

We saw smoke.

Upon investigation a garage in the neighbourhood was on fire.

All we need is marshmallows and chocolate.

Breakfast was a little later on acount that we only have 104 km to ride.

So we left last  from camp after the gear truck was loaded. Ed decided to join us. We got him to pull us to the first rest stop.

Fields of green. And water. And canola.

Riding the long and winding road is so long. Well maybe not so winding.

Reuben and the cows. They all look like Big Macs to me.

Here comes billy.

I think I was passing billy at this point.

The hard part for me is figuring out which pictures to use.
We were almost at the rest stop

This was a huge dollar coin

An awsome lunch by a church group.
Some more fields on this road that had a great tail wind.
The next stop was at a local coffee shop where we supported a couple of local ladies. Pictured here on the left.
A big tractor went by and a few cyclists drafted behind them at 33 kmph

Passing by our sag ladies. Cheering us on.

We pulled over at the border of Manitoba.

This pic is from the canola' s perspective

Stuart took this pic.

We found these bikes growing in the field.

Heading down into a valley. A rare time to get some speed  I got to 70 km.

Climbing back out.

The group for the final push. It was a fun few miles

This was a great ride. No bull.

Lined up for supper.
The camp.

Having fun on the worlds longest bike.
Have a great day. Len.
