Day 45 meaford to orillia

So we made the climb out of camp.
We were high up overlooking meaford. It was about 10km away.

The day started with a great down hill. It was just Reuben and I because Paul stayed in town.

There was rain all around us. It made for a great sky.

There goes big Jim.

And Eric. We were waiting for Paul.

Paul gave us a little tour of thornbury.

Carries rest stop was only a block away.

We stopped at a local bakery.

Let's just say local shops are the way to go. It tasted great.

They also had something else I needed after drinking all that water.

I felt a bit like a tourist as we checked out the fish ladders.

After bucking along the bay for a while we turn toward blue mountain.

This is the group of the day.

We biked down the streets of wasaga beach.

Got this beauty pic of the trifecta   Water , bikers and mc ds.

We stopped for lunch at a church today.

These ladies filled our hearts and our stomachs.

We went past this place and a bunch of kids were jumping On these. Usually they cover manure piles. Mmmmmm

Here's an old barn.

Betty's rest stop.

Check out this place. Looked real cool.

I think these guys were following me.

Is that a guy on the roof

We climbed St. Louis mountain and then descended right past the ski hills and over hyw 400.

A ton more climbing so we decided that Paul should pull for the rest of the way

Downtown orillia. Reuben stopped at a bakery to do some recon.

We arrived at camp to find mom, Uncle Tom and auntie Ann.   Jackie also came to see me today. Love having visitors come and give me a boost.

Tonight's peloton meeting. After replacing a rear spike nipple it's off to bed. Len
