Day 41 Blind river to batman 's lair

Woke up to rain on the roof of the RV again. By the time we got up and had breakfast  the rain stopped.
The rain made it wet but the sun was starting to peak through.

The wind was at our back for the most part to start. We were making good time.
It was a very cold morning. 160 km.
We saw some waterfalls.
Carries stop had a ton of urinals.
Lots of horse and buggies around here.

The girls pulling into second rest stop.

Reuben and the buggy.

Crossing more bridges , getting closer.

Carries stop was in the town of espanola.

We were 120 km in and with 40 to go we stopped for a Big Mac.

After that we continued to tromp on the pedals.

In Alberta I saw a mini van with some kids so when I saw these guys I though I'd take a picture.

Turns out it is my daughter with 4 of my grandchildren. It was the best surprise ever. They made signs and everything.
This was going down a hill. We reached  67.80 kmph
Lots of climbs and desents. We were managing to keep our average speed over 30 kmph through this section.
This was the toughest section. It was strong head winds.

We got to the swing bridge

One lane traffic only.

Last rest stop with only 15 km to go.

We turned so the wind was at our backs.

Passed this awesome falls.

The veiw from the top of a hill we climbed. Chugging hard and starting to feel it. We made it to batman's camp  ground. Turns our he wasn't there. Stats for this ride. 160km. 5.28:48. Time. Average speed 29.29 kmph. What a great ride. Awesome surprise. And the rain held off. Going to the cottage for a day to see the kids and grandkids. It's going to be great. See ya. Len.
