Ian and Christine are back.
We started the day with a big climb.
More nice barns today.
Passed this boat. It's like a fish out of water
We got onto a bike path along the seaway. It was a nice veiw and a nice tailwind.
Looks like we were on the ferry.
Stopped at the first stop at a former church turned into a type of drop in centre.
We had coffee and muffins and crepes.
Carrie and Annie.
Great scenery. You can smell the sea.
Stopped at a light house
Also saw a submarine.
It had big brass propellers.
Checked out a few more buildings. One houses the fog horn.
Saw this mermaid but I had to cover her to make it PG.
We continued along the shore enjoying the veiws.
Cute little setup along the shore. Makes you want to stop and enjoy.
Nice little houses along the way.
Reuben and a resterant. Always thinking about food.
Stopped for a photo op.
Shepard and his sheep We stopped for lunch 100 km in
Back on the road again. Can't resist these barns.
Another barn. So today we had some great stretches where we could open up. We had an 8 km stretch that we could average 40 kmph. Fun. We climbed 2500 ft today. A lot more then we've been doing lately.
At this point we were as high as we could go. The rest was down hill until we got to camp.
A local berrie farm.
I pulled off this selfy in a hurry as this turbine blade went past us.
Got into camp and had supper. Pasta. And salad. It was good. We have a great group of volunteers.
Here was our natural amphitheater at peleton. We talked about tomorrow's ride and a little of today's. A few people said their good buys It was good. Len
