Ausable to white hill

I got up this morning and the race was on. 135 km and over 6000 feet of climbing.
We packed up early because everyone got out early. I was on sweep this morning  so after everything was packed up it was 8 am. We only went a quarter mile when we came across a water fall.
There was a big gorge on the other side of the bridge.
We are definitely in the mountains. Last week was a walk in the park compared to today.
The hills were long and steep. Steady she goes.
After long up hills came long down hills. A nice river in one of the valleys.
We are still biking along lake Champlain.  I think it's the longest lake ever.
Here's a nice house that faced the lake.
Another nice barn along the lake.
The mountains in the distance. As you go through them there still mountains.
This house was all alone against a beautiful backdrop.
This was truly a log chapel.
What gorgeous view. Getting close to the end.
In camp Eric and Malori tried out the camp bike. These kids have too much energy. It was long day. A lot of people got their butts kicked.  Well the Internet service isn't great and neither is the cell service. So no bonus pics. See you later Len

  1. Kaylen saw a biker today on the canal road, she was yelling at me in church by the south entrance "OPA, OPA" I told her 6 more days sweetie, that seemed to satisfy her, and she went back to her play. She is having fun at vbs, while Aussie is charming the babysitter (Mrs Angenent Sr.) Stay safe, and I for one is looking forward to having you two back home. Loce u Mom
