First united Presbyterian church in Fairbury, what can you say but wow. From the welcome we received to the relevant sermon that was preached. Rev. Steven Frazier sermon title was "what good is the wind". It was based on the passage from Ezekiel 37:1-14. Well being a cyclist himself he knew what a head wind and tale wind were. He also knew the effect it has. What an awesome way to include us in the service.
Well after the service we were treated to a feast.
I think they'll have to roll me in and out of the van. I had some good conversations with locals as well as not so local locals;) what a great experience to be blessed by God's people. It's a good lesson for us in that there are great Christians in all parts of the world.
Just came back from the local pool. It was very refreshing. Now it's time to pay a little attention to the thing that got me this far, my bike.
I'm going to change the back and front tires around. It seems like the back one is wearing faster. Might have something to do with my heavy back end.
Last night I found out how regular the train runs through this town. Lets just say you could set your watch to it. Apperently driving a train through a small town involves repeated blowing of its horn. Two short one long one short. At this point does it really matter when your crossing four roads in a thousand yard span. Needless to say I may have woken up a few times last night. Not really looking forward to tonight's sleep. I'm back at mc Donald's to post my blog because I have no cell service in this town. Thanks for listening and ill see you tommorow. Len
Have a wonderful night of rest! Put in the earplugs, I carry mine with me whenever I go away. Look forward to your blogs and absolutely love pics of old trucks, tractors and cars. Keep those bonus pics coming! Be safe, brother!
