Sunday , destination nowhere

Sunday morning, we slept in till 7. Well I was awake at 5. I took a pic at breakfast to give you an idea of where were staying. 

The play ground to the right is where the tents go. The tractor trailer on the right is the kitchen. The parking lot is a very steep grade. So we walk up and down to the showers and toilets. In the back round you can see pikes peak. The high one with the receding tree line. Below it is what is known as the garden of the gods. 

So after breakfast we headed to craigmore CRc. They feed us lunch after the service. It was a good service, and we celebrated the lords supper. After lunch and fellowship we headed back to the school. We made a road trip to the garden of the gods 

It's basically Gods creation. Pretty cool with the red and white rocks jutting out of the earth. 

There were lots of people there. It was deep red colours. 

Nice to spend the last day with my sweetheart before she goes home for a couple of weeks. 

This has been an amazing first three weeks. It's gone by so fast.

After the garden we headed to the town of manitou at the foot of pikes peak. It's a touristy town. We parked and walked around the town sightseeing. We found out that the town is known for its mineral springs. 

Theirs a whole bunch of springs all around the town. No offence but I tasted a few and they tasted like sh$t. Club soda. 

Well we had to get the taste of the springs out of our mouths. The only thing that seemed to work was a pils. I took one for the team. Team weigh more, awesome that is. Well to bed I go, I have to bring Carrie away tommorow morning early to the airport. Love you all
